The country of Pryus is in a tenuous state of peace. Under the surface of this calm, tensions are rising between the capital city of Tirus and the island nation of Lycos. In these uncertain times Helena, a former child soldier of Lycos, works as a mercenary in a small fishing village, earning coin to drink her way through her days.
This stupor is shattered when an occupation of her village by Lycon forces begins, and Helena is given a job to assassinate the general leading this group. She accepts, and is swept up in a journey that brings past mistakes and traumas she has spent years running from into the forefront of her life. As she gets closer to her goal and the conflict between the two city-states comes to a boiling point, she not only has to face specters from her memories, but decide if she can truly stay neutral in the war sweeping her land.
